Listen to users but not too much

Warning: This one has a bit of a linkedin post vibe.
My son asked me to find a village in Minecraft. Minecraft maps are huge and villages appear in random places. I explain him 4 or 5 times it might take me days to find any villages. He didn’t listen to me. He wanted to hear a solution and not a problem.
So what I did was download maps from the internet with entire cities. He was so happy that now he wants to be bald like me.
Of course if I did what my son asked I’d be in jail by now, but by doing exactly the features adult users request, I wouldn’t be in a great place either.
If I’m building an efficient truck, don’t ask me to make it so it’s fast to participate in F1 races!
